🤝 I review early-stage digital health startups everyday

I source and diligence digital health deals as the Senior Venture Partner of GoingVC Partners (GVCP), an angel syndicate that has made 28 investments with three profitable exits and one unicorn. After sourcing more deals than anyone from my cohort, I was promoted within four months. As such, I mentor four venture partners and lead organization-wide digital health efforts. Recently, I successfully advocated for a digital health-designated principal group.

🐘 I sourced GVCP’s first investment of 2024: Koda Health

Koda Health is an early-stage Advanced Care Planning platform raising a seed extension round. Lives under management has 10x’ed in 2024, representative of the logos captured like Cigna, UHC, and Privia. The Houston-based company, a CB Insights Top 150 Digital Health Startup of 2022, is Texas Medical Center Innovation Factory BioDesign  program graduate. Despite being oversubscribed in the current round, the founding team has allocated a slot for GVCP after I developed a relationship with the founders.

👨‍💻 I consult early-stage digital health startup

In 2022, I founded the independent healthtech startup consulting firm, Mycorrhiza Partners (MyPart). Concentrating on strategy engagements, MyPart has engaged six healthtech investors and 16 startups, performing market research, operations design, user acquisition, investor readiness, and recruitment.

Additionally, MyPart has released a startup pitch video series and newsletter called ‘Investment-Grade Startups’. Through these livestreamed discovery calls, founders and stakeholders are featured while the next generation of innovators peek behind the curtain of a real-life pitch.
